Morning & Afternoon: Energize yourself by visiting MacRitchie Reservoir early in the morning. Located at the central of Singapore, this is the oldest yet largest reservoir in Singapore. Hiking over MacRitchie will never be the same as you will get to witness long-tailed macaques swinging branches to branches, sneaky squirrels and monitor lizards. Be careful not to feed them with any kind of food. Hence keep all your food inside your bag. Apart from that, walk through Singapore’s very own HSBC Treetop Walk. Be sure to walk on this one-way trail as you can see the panorama, which offers a breath-taking view. MacRitchie Reservoir also caters for water sport lovers who are kayaking and canoeing enthusiasts. If you’re hungry before or after your hiking session, there is a food stall at the entrance of MacRitchie Reservoir.

Evening: Surely you will feel exhausted after a long hike over at MacRitchie Reservoir. Those of you who would like to feast on some delectable local meals and would like to experience the hawker food centre environment, why not head down to Newton Food Centre! This hawker centre offers various scrumptious seafood for you to tuck in. Name whatever seafood you would like to eat, there is a plenty of stalls selling the similar seafood in an affordable range. Definitely you will be spoiled for choices! When entering this hawker centre, you will be welcomed by many stall holders which will convince you to have your meals from their stall. Don’t fret as you can easily negotiate with them.

How do you get there? If you’re from MacRitchie Reservoir, you can simply take the direct bus number 162/162M and alight at Newton MRT station. Next, walk at the back of the Exit B of the station and cross over via overhead bridge. If you’re planning to take MRT, simply alight at Newton MRT Station (NS21).

Day 2: Experience the ‘Kallang Roar’ area

Morning: Gear up for another day full of thrills and action-packed adventure. On a Day 2, head down to Singapore Sports Hub— it was officially launched in June 2014 with its 35 hectare, cutting-edge site. This newly renovated Sports Hub is dedicated for the upcoming SEA Games in June 2015. There is always some activity for you to try on. We suggest you to try the tallest indoor rock climbing– Climb Central, which is located inside Kallang Wave Mall. With an approximate of 1,000 square meter of wall space, climbing up the wall will be easy for the beginner. Apart from rock climbing, there are also alternative ways for you to try out for free– Exercise & Fitness Stations and Sports Hub Giant Chess. Kallang Wave Mall is a shopping mall which offers great variety of sports goods, food junctions and many more. Hence you won’t have difficulty having your breakfast or brunch or even lunch around here.

Afternoon & Evening: Spend your afternoon and evening to Kallang Leisure Park where there are Ice Skating sessions for you to try out. Apart from Ice Skating, you can even bowl over at Kallang Bowl as well. After a long day spent at Ice Skating and Bowling, sit back and relax while catching up some great movies at Filmgarde Cineplex.

How to reach Singapore Sports Hub, Kallang Wave Mall and/or Kallang Leisure Park? Simply take the MRT and alight at Stadium Station (CC6). Exit A to Sports Hub or Kallang Wave Mall. Exit B to Kallang Leisure Park.

Day 3: Thrilling Activities

Morning: Rise and shine! Get ready for another action-packed activities. if you have been wanting to play Go Kart, visit the KF1 Karting Circuit— the place where you will get to try out and play Go Kart. There are 2 types of karts for you to choose from. However, it is advisable to take up Viper Kart which is meant for the amateur racer. You can upgrade yourself to Birel Kart after you have familiar with the circuit. Viper Kart and Birel Kart has its own speed of 30km/h and 50km/h respectively. Also, they offer an affordable price. Afternoon: Head over to Paint Ball Alliance after the first thrilling activity at KF1 Karting Circuit. Paint Ball Alliance was set up in 2012 and they have 2 fields which Singapore is the first in the world to follow the international competition standards. There are also shower facilities. So, if you’re planning to have your game here, be sure to bring your toiletries as well. There are various of packages for you to choose from. Price rates are affordable as well. Be sure to make an advance booking before heading there. You have to be 14 years old and above to play the paintball. However, do note that you require parental consent if you’re aged in the range of 14-17 years old.

Morning & Afternoon: Spend your last day in Singapore by making a trip down to Marine Life Park @ Resort World Sentosa.The park consists of 3 attractions– mainly SEA Aquarium, Adventure Cove Waterpark and Dolphin Island. We suggest you to visit SEA Aquarium first to view the therapeutic display of jellyfishes and other sea species dancing in the water. Apart from that, you will be able to touch the starfish at the Discovery Touch Pool. You will be able to catch sharks, grouper and many more at Open Ocean. After spending about 1 and half hour at SEA Aquarium, be sure to enjoy the splash of waters at Adventure Cove Waterpark. Play all kinds of water slides like Dueling Racer, Pipeline Plunge, Riptide Rocket, Spiral Washout and the Whirlpool Washout. If you’re daring enough, you can take the plunge at Splashworks! Alternatively, you may also use your Ez-Link card for admission to Sentosa. $4.00 will be deducted in your Ez-Link card instantly. Finally alight at Waterfront Station and make your way to USS!

Evening: In the evening, drop by to Imbiah Station, 1 station away from Waterfront Station and have some fun by taking the Skyline Luge. You can either take up the Skyline where you can get to catch the breathtaking view or ride on the Luge or even you can challenge yourself by taking both rides! There’s also Night Luge if you are willing to take up the challenge.
